    Student with tax questions
I have a Florida license which I received in march 2008. I thought I would transfer schools, but have decided against it. I work in New York as well as live.

I am in a seek student in New York city, which is a state funded program that offers much assistance to my education. I will lose eligibility if I am recognized as an out of state student. I was debating on putting off doing my taxes this year but also didn't even know if that was a real possibility.

    What are my options?

If you live in NY and work in NY you are a NY resident. The fact that your driver's license is from FL is immaterial. If you owe taxes you should file (federal and NY State).
