    Credit card lien in Michigan
    My husband has an old credit card debt that was bought out, we have been paying on the debt, and at one time they drained out checking account. Now they have placed a lien on the home and I don't understand how they can do that when cc debt is unsecured? Can you advise?

    They have a judgment against your husband and they are enforcing it by any means legal in your State. Secured or unsecured makes no difference when a Judgment is involved.
