I don't understand what's going on.im scared
My boyfriend and I have been trying for a child for almost 2 onths now and last month I had a regular period but now this month I am 7 days late today. I was suppost to start on the 23rd but haven't even spotted. I have been very tired and taking naps all the time even if I don't want to I catch myself falling asleep whenever I sit down. When I wake up in the morning and open my eyes I feel very nausiated but don't get sick and then after a couple hours it goes away. I have had movement in my lower abdomen and period like cramps and my lower back is stiff. My appetight changes wildly one moment I get full off nothing and then I can eat everything in sight. Also the tops of my feet have been sore like someone stepped on them. This is the first time I have ever experienced these things or even tried for a child I amm so confused on what's going on and very scared that it can be something other than pregnancy, I never miss my period and it hasn't been late in years I don't know what is going on. I have taken several hpt the last week even one this morning and they all came back - . If any one has any advice or similar experiences, please help me.

If you're trying to get pregnant it wouldn't hurt to buy a book on what to expect. You've only been trying for 2 months to get pregnant though. That's not really very long. Sometimes it takes a while. I would take a test though to find out of you're pregnant or make an appt with your doctor.

Make an appointment with your OB/GYN and request a blood test, if you are too concerned to wait.
Or just keep waiting it out and taking HPTs.

Many times P.M.S. symptoms will be similar to pregnancy symptoms.
Stress can throw off your cycle.
Being sick with a cold or flu can throw off your cycle.
Be sure to take your test with early morning urine.
I have had two children and I always knew by breast tenderness and enlargement. Those were my only very early symptoms.
It is always wise to see your gynecologist when trying to conceive. She can help you with all of your questions and make sure you are in good overall health.

Nobody here can tell you whether you are or are not pregnant.
The stress and pressure of trying to have a child can throw off your cycle, no matter how "regular" it has been. You can be sick, which can throw off your cycle. Hormone levels can change as you age. And on and on...
Presumptive symptoms are not reliable.
Even HPT's aren't necessarily "reliable", when taken in context.
A negative test means the test failed to detect threshold levels of pregnant hormones. That doesn't mean you aren't pregnant... it means you might not be pregnant, or that you might be pregnant but the hormone levels have not concentrated yet. Some women can take many, many weeks before a HPT shows that they are...
Generally a positive HPT, when taken within the strict guidelines of the test, is quite reliable. And it isn't that a negative is "unreliable"... its just often interpreted incorrectly.
So... you need to try to relax. Stress (like that of wanting to trying to conceive), as mentioned, can throw your regular cycle off.
Most physicians don't address "fertility issues" until around a year or more of deliberately trying to conceive without success, unless there are predisposing known issues at hand... so... it might be hard to be patient, but you need to be patient.
In the meantime, make sure you are getting good rest, exercise, you are taking a good prenatal multivitamin... folic acid is known to help with neural tube development when you are pregnant, but has also been cited as increasing your ability to get pregnant.
Likewise, your mate can improve "sperm quality" by many of the same things... good rest, health, fitness, etc...

I am not trying to be judgmental here but if you don't have insurance you are putting yourself and the health of an unborn at risk.
You will need to get prenatal care from the beginning of your pregnancy and if you have no means to do that,it is in your best interest to wait until you have insurance before you think about being a Mom.

If you do not have health insurance why have you and your boyfriend been trying to get pregnant?
Healthcare is vital from the first trimester and into labor & delivery and then pediatric care.
If you are unable to provide for health care, do not consider yourself ready to provide for a new child.

If you are pregnant when your insurance begins, you may not be covered for the pregnancy as they could consider that a *pre-existing condition*.
I would check your policy to be certain because the medical cost of having a baby is outrageous.
