    Should I go for it?
Should I tell the dreamy eyed Ashkenazi skinny boy of my feelings for him?

We'd need to know more about the situation to advise you...

Is he already dating anyone else?
    How do you know him?
    What are your ages?

Tell us something so we can try to help you.

    Thanks

    Here's what
The skinny boy of course does not know I love him He is a few months younger than me and although he is very sociable I sense he feels very much alone I have known him slightly for a few years but grown to love him only as of late
As far as I know he is not with anyone we are both at our 31st year

You're both single, young adults, then why not just talk to him and let him know you're interested? You've known him for a while so I don't see the problem in just talking to him... Is there more to the story that we're missing?

You mentioned that ashkenazi thing; are there some religious/cultural boundaries you're afraid of crossing?
