    Court order DNA/ specimen retrieval
I requested DNA test. I showed up to the testing facility, and they had me give a urine sample. Is this the correct procedure? I am not a scientist, but I was sure I'd be swabbed from inside of mouth. Is this legitimate?

Its unusual, but they can retrieve DNA from just about anything. I'm not sure WHY they would do it that way...

Was the order specifically for a DNA test or for a paternity test? Not all paternity tests are DNA tests.

It waer.s for paternity. The results said there is a99% chance I could not be removed as a "possible" father. Whatever that means.

In the eyes of the court it means "congratulations, you're a father"

Sounds like the DNA company is afraid of commitment and isn't sure as their tests may indicate.
