    Garage door opener idler sprocket
    Hi,
I have a Stanley Professional Model 7200, Serial # 084143, 1/3 Hp Garage Door Opener with a worn and damaged plastic idler chain sprocket.
I have not been able to find a replacement.
I am looking for the Plastic or metal Chain Sprocket that is about 2 ¼ inches in diameter, with a 5/16 center hole, about a 9/16 Pitch, about 1/2 inch thickness that fits into the header bracket, at Door end of the Chain.
I am also looking for a Model 1050 Remote.
    Thanks,:)
    Marty

I would try a motor bike shop, probably one that repairs old British bikes. If you take you old sprocket in, they maybe can machine a bike sprocket to fit ?

When I pushed the button to open my mom's garage door, the door went up about an inch and made a loud banging noise like a machine gun. We got the door to open by pushing on the button and pushing up on the door. The noise is coming from the part in the middle of the garage door that goes down...
