    Quick divorce with a newspaper
    I have heard about divorce with a newspaper ad and I want to know more about it and how do I get it done I have been separated from my husband for over a year and I have take care of my two kids on my own with out him and I want to get away and live in mexico when all this is over

    Its called Service by Publication and only applies if you have exhausted all other means of serving him with divorce papers. Consult with a local lawyer about how to proceed.

    A divorce using publication is actually a much longer process since you will have to meet all of the courts requirements to hunt down the ex.

    And if you know where the ex is, you can't do this.

    Also you may not be allowed to move out of state if the father wants and gets visitation. So you first need is to file for divorce, file for custody of the kids, and see if you and ex can work out an agreement without fighting it out in court
