I've been going out with this boy for about 4 or 5 days now and he's only called me once since I gave him my number... we talked on the phone for a about an hour and then that's when he became my boyfriend and we haven't talked on the phone since then... what's the problem!

Four or five DAYS? Boys don't like to talk on the phone like girls do. Feel very fortunate he called you once already, and for an HOUR. Be patient.

There is a few reason this cood be happening:

1) Just like wondergirl said he may not like to talk on the phone
2) His parents/housemate(s) etc... may not let him use the landline
3) He cannot afford to call from a moblie/pay phone
4) He would prefer to talk to you in person

Anyway I would not worry about this. If he likes you enough to ask you out then the fact that he is not calling is not a big issue.

I'm not sure how old you are, so I'm not sure if you guys are playing the whole "hard to get" thing. But he's your boyfriend right? So just call him if you want to talk. If he wanted to talk, he would call too.

Just a thought, but it's still early in the relationship, so maybe he doesn't want to smother you. The next time you talk to him, just tell him you would like it if he would call.

Whatever his problem is you obviously can't deal with it. There are many other boys out there... just find a new one.
