How can I speak to my ex/boyfriend without bugging him?
Ive been with my boyfriend for about 4 and a bit years now, we love each other to bits, but lately we've been arguing a lot, over silly things mainly money and alcohol (I know it sounds bad) Last Friday we had a huge fight (we were both really drunk) and I was way out of line. He tried to make things up with me that night and in the morning and I was having none of it, and asked him to leave, which he did, which I now massively regret I was just still so angry with him. I tried ringing him and texting him and he ignored me and said he hated me for days then on the Wednesday after he answered but I had been in the pub with my friends so I was a bit tipsy, he wasn't impressed? This for one makes me confused because if he hated me and didn't want to be with me then why would he be bothered? Then I left it for a few days, and rang him again yesterday(Saturday) and he said he was still really angry and we both needed to grow up and change. I really think this has opened my eyes and I am ready to change for the better.. I asked him if we could ever get back and he said he didn't know? How am I supposed to go about talking to him again without annoying him, he isn't the type of person to ring me (hes incredibly stubborn) so I know its down to me? I really need to know whether to ring him tonight or leave him until midweek? Or whatever? I don't know all I know is I made a mistake and I am sorry and want him back.. when were together were so happy we've just had a bad patch and we need to work things out? Please Help... Any Suggestions welcome... xxxxx:(:(:(:(:(

Don't talk in a "Bugging" manner. And the word please goes a long way.

I've said please a million times? Do you think I am best to leave him until midweek? Or ring him now? I really don't know what to do? X

I think you need longer than a few weeks apart, as both of you need change, and that may have to start with your drinking habits, since you seem to have most of your problems when your fired up from alcohol.

I was in a slightlty similar situation to yourself last week. My boyfriend and I had got slightly drunk and ended up having a massive fight which ended up with me storming off. Anyway we made up the next day and I thought everything was fine but it wasn't. He was majorly annoyed. He would answer my calls but be really quiet and not talk much. Anyway long story short he told me he had no plans to break up with me he was just really annoyed and didn't want to talk to me. I was happy with that. As long as I knew we were going to be OK. I left him alone for a few days, although he still phoned me and then like 2 days later he phoned and told me he was coming up to mine that night and didn't want to not talk or see me. So he came up and we worked things out. But basically what I'm saying is, is if you know that deep down he won't break up with you, then leave him. He'll soon come out of his mood and when he does just make sure your there with a nice bottle of beer and a hug.

    Hope that helps.

Leave him a voicemail message and tell him your sorry and that you were out of line. Leave it at that and let him come to you.

I agree with Talaniman when it comes to change and your drinking habits.
