Trying to get pregnant with endometriosis
I have endometriosis and have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months now. I have been making the vitamins, not smoking, not drinking and everything else I can think of. Last month my doctor started me on Clomiphene. I know a couple people who used this drug and it worked right away but for me it didn't. I just started bleeding today and feel a little upset. Any ideas on how to relax and yet still do what my doctor orders.

Has it been determined whether you are actually ovulating? This is what the Clomid would be for... not really for endometriosis. Did your doctor actually see the endometriosis on a scan or at this point is it just suspected to be the problem?

Yes I have been ovulating each month around the 18th. I had surgery about 8 years ago with the same doctor I have now.

I'm not really sure why he would have you on Clomid if you are already ovulating. Did he say what the Clomid was supposed to do for you in regard to the endo? I assume he is closely monitoring things as Clomid can sometimes make endo worse for some people.

When used for inducing ovulation, it can take a number of rounds for some people... and sometimes the dose will need to be adjusted.
