    Deceased and credit cards

    My dad passed away in January. There is credit card debt. My Mom is ONLY an authorized user on the cards. Do you think she is responsible for the accts.

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    In some states she would be. Debts incurred during marriage could be the responsibility of both.
