My girlfriend dwells over my past even after over 2 1/2 years
Ok as the title says I have been with my girlfriend for over 2 1/2 years she means so much to me and she knows it. But after all this time she still dwells over my on past girlfriend whom I lost my virginity to. I have told her multiple times I regret everything that I have done with that girl, but she won't believe me. I am 21 and she is 18 I am madly in love with her and don't want to lose her but I feel that our relationship can not last if its going to be like this. I tell her how I regret things and she asks me things all the time and if what I tell her changes the tiniest bit she just gets even madder. I have told her that I never loved that girl the only reason I stayed with her was because I was very self conscious about myself and that's why I stayed with that girl. And while broken up with that girl I had cheated with my other gfs with her, so she just keeps saying how I must have loved her and all types of stuff if I went back to her. But I told her that the only reason I would be around the girl was because it made me feel better about myself because there was someone that really wanted me and I could just say no to her. So as it is now my current girlfriend has recently been calling me a liar, dirtbag, saying I'm a piece of and all I do is lie to her. But I'm really not any of those things, I'm a great guy she just can't get over my past and I'm willing to do anything to help. I have done so much for her and plan on spending the rest of my life with her. I have spoiled her with everything she wants I even bought her a brand new car this year but it really feels to me like she just takes everything I do for grannit. She had been in the feeling that she needed to have sex with someone else just so that she could get back at me for losing my virginity to someone else, but I feel that I had made mistakes in the past I admit to them and why would someone you love say like that. And when she gets mad she always puts me down saying oh I'm going to leave you and go him I bet hell give it to me real good, and then saying I'm horrible at sex and she just lies when she says she loves it, cause she's my girlfriend and just had to say that. Her mom says that I just need to break it off and she's in high school and that's all it is she needs to grow up and I deserve so much better, but I just feel if I do just leave she will find someone else and then I will lose her forever. I mean I am in the military and away from home during the week and home on weekends, so when I'm home things are all better, but as soon as I leave its hell! I know everyone's just going to say get out of it I'm still young, but I just love her so much and could never love anyone like this again I feel! But can anyone give me some help she had posted something on here once before her name on here is shannon08 it's a post like my boyfriends past is ruining me... But please someone give me something...

She is acting out of immaturity and insecurity.

That is her problem and nothing you say or do is going to fix it.

That is the bottom line, she is insecure and no amount of reassurance from you will help that.
It comes from inside and I suggest that you let her grow up and tell her when she does you may or may not be there.

What she is doing to you is wrong , you can't change your past.

She either needs to accept that you are not with the ex for a reason and you would not be with her if you didn't want to.

She has problems of her own to deal with and I doubt you can help her.

    This is her post,

Take some time for you, and make sure you know that its not easy being with a young, insecure, jealous, and borderline, obsessed partner. They usually destroy their relationships with their impulsive behavior. Till she makes the right changes, your in for a ride.

She's still really young, you're just going to have to be patient with her.

She is insecure. There is nothing you can do about this except be patient and endure this crap or leave all together.
