How do you remove the brake rotors on a 1999 Buick Century?
I need to replace the front brakes and rotors on my daughter's 1999 buick century. I have replaced many brakes on other vehicles. Am I in for any challenges with this vehicle?

Never changed any on a century ,but on most, after the caliper is off,the rotor comes off easily.the caliper, and the wheel lug nuts are what hold the crotor in place.

Remove brake caliper (support with a piece of wire), pads, and caliper mounting bracket (two 15 mm bolts). Then, disc will come right off--no challenges. Clean rust from hub, in order to prevent lateral runout (LRO); install new disc; install caliper mounting bracket; clean and lubricate caliper pins with silicone grease or Squeak Relief; spread pads (crack bleeder screw or remove master cylinder reservoir cap); and install new pads, after applying Squeak Relief or other anti-squeal compound to shims. Tighten caliper mounting bracket bolts (15 mm) 70 lb.-ft. tighten caliper bolts (12 mm) 25 lb.-ft.
