    Laminate floor trim
I just laid new laminate floor in a hall way. It rests up against tile floor in the entry way.
I can't seem to get the floor trim to stay on the floor. My wife and I both kick it and so do our two dogs. The plastic that is suppose to go under the trim never seems to work. I can't get the trim into the plastic.
I've tried two different types of glue and both time the trim has been kicked loose.
    Any help?
    Thanks
    Paul

Paul, I know the plastic you are talking about and it is a bear sometimes. Your best bet is to start at one end of the length, press very firmly and then a good smack or two with a rubber mallet. I usually slide the trim piece back and forth a bit to insure I am directly over the plastic, then smack
