    A real leopard coat
    Hi,
My late uncle was a fur professional in the 1960's +. I have a leopard coat that he had especially made for his wife at the time. As she died young due to a brain tumor she didn't get to wear it too often, it's in especially good shape. My arms are a bit too long for the coat. Is there anyway for me to sell such an item in today's market?
    Thanks,
    DPG

Try Ebay in the late summer, early fall to sell it. Before you do try and sell it, get it appraised and take the exact measurements.

Isn't it illegal to sell a leopard coat on eBay? I mean, it is vintage so it was purchased at a time when it was legal to buy but...

You may want to contact Ebay and ask them as that is a good point.

Check the endangered species list. I don't see Leopard on there-- except Ocelots. If someone find it on a list somewhere I'd like to know. Thanks.

I also have a real leopard coat (size small) and a matching purse form the 60s. The handle of the purse needs to be repaired and the coat has some small seam rips. Am I allowed to sell these?
