    Who sings athe newer version of "I Try" that was originally done by Macy Gray?
    I cannot find a name of the artist who had redone this song.

    If you are referring to a reggae version (song with a reggae beat behind it) I think its by 'Girlfriends'. I see the song all the time, its even on my myspace. I hope that's what you are looking for. Here's the link from Imeem.
