Recovery rebate credit for spouse of L1B
    Hi

We are married and filing jointly for the first time. We arrived on L1B work permit on Sept.21 until I lost my onsite position on Dec.08 and we travel back to native. My wife has SSN and she applied for EAD. Before she got EAD, we need to travel back as I lost my position. My total income is less than 10K. When I entered my all information in turbo tax, it is showing $600 Recovery rebate credit for me.

Whether my wife is eligible to get her Recovery rebate credit? She has SSN and this is our first time filing tax.

    Thanks.

You will file nonresident tax return. You will not get recovery rebate. Can not file joint return.
