2000 ford tarus anti freeze resivour is always empty had resivour changed and the pressurized and no leaks white smoke and a little water is coming out the exshaut do I need a head gasket sealer?

Did you change the radiator cap?

Yes cap at first then put in a whole new resivour

Just don't have money for dealer does any of this stop leak stuff work I need a quick fix until I can get back to work laid off here:(:(

One more thing had the pressure test and it held hot and cold no leaks yesterday coolant tank was full wife took the vehicle car shut off after driving it for about and 2 hours or so when I went too pick up car it was out of coolant that day before they pressure tested it it did not leak drove it home and it was leaking brought it back guy again pressure tested it it held they said guy didn't wait for t stat too call for antifrezze that's why it came out or whatever all I know guy put more water that anti freeze is this why it was bubbling in the tank in short changed cap then changed resivour still same problem no visuble leaks no antifreeze in the resivour about after a week or so so again is this a head gasket issue also heat is sometimy last time brought it too the shop the say they blew out intake and outake lines plus heater core heat worked on and off anyway tired don't have the funds now this is not good

It sounds like the engine must have overheated at some point. The heads may have warped, which caused the head gaskets to leak coolant. The coolant is now being burned in the combustion chambers and producing white smoke. STAY AWAY FROM ANY SEALERS! Have the engine examined by your local Ford dealer. Hopefully, the valves were not damage.

I wouldn't touch the stuff--it can interfere later with fixing it properly.

Have a pressure test done first to determine if the head gasket is actually the problem. An independent shop can do this for you at almost half the cost of what the dealer would charge.

I'd take it to another shop and have them take a look at it. Don't mention the head gaskets, just ask them to do a pressure test.

Do a pressure test. If it looks like head gaket. Try Barsleak head gasket and block sealer and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS exactly. I used it in 350 small block with 671 blower over three years ago and it still is tight with no overheating.
