    Hot not cold
    There is hot water coming out of my cold taps also in to toilet

    This could be a very serious problem, it could be that your water heater is over heating and it is building up steam in the tank and pushing back out the cold water inlet and getting into the water line suppling the toilet.

    You can turn the temperature down on the thermostat and if this does not work turn the gas off to the water heater until you can get a plumber out to check things out.

    If you can not determine what the problem is call someone soon.
