    Income tax garnishment
I filed my 2008 income tax and recently found out that the total amount that I was set to receive back was garnished due to a deliquent student loan. I was recently laid off my job and will soon be evicted. I have set up a debt consolidation for this past due student loan and was advised that I can appeal my income tax garnishment. How do I go about this and what is the process?
