Is there any limitation on efiling in multi state?

Can I file Federal, state 1, state 2 & state 3 electronically together or separately?

You can not file together; it is always one after another. Normally first you file federal return and then you file state return.

    Thanks Mukta,

My question is can I E File the states that is state 1, state 2 & State 3?

Or the option is that I can file only one of the state as efile the rest as manual?

    Regards,
    Vanitha

You can efile for every state in the Union if you have tax return required for that many states.

Now, some tax software does not allow for individual state efiling, but most do.
