    Balast
I purchased a replacement balast for a circular, double bulb (12 inch and 16 inch, 32 watt and 40 watt) fixture. The old one is a 120 V, 60 HZ, 0.6 A. The new one is a 120V, 60 HZ, 1.1A (outdoor). Is the new one compatible?

Does the label on the ballast list the type of lamp(s) you have? If so your all set, if not then the ballast must list that lamp you have.

Balast lights some bulbs, not others [ 4 Answers ]

At work I have a large sign at the front of the building which contains a large ballast and 6, 6' fluorescent bulbs. Everything was working fine last week, but this week only two of the 6 bulbs light up, even after replacing every bulb. Does anyone have any clue what could be happening?
