    Spybot delete HKEY_users\s-1-5-21
    Has anyone had a problem after letting Spybot delete HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21?

    It would depend on which key under that directory .Take a look at this thread on the spybot forums

    It could be that this process has deleted the registry settings for a user profile on your system. If you cannot log in normally, try another user account on the local machine.

    You may have to copy the contents of the old profile to a new one to get your files and settings back!

    Many times spybot ask that this be deleted. I have no problems with PC opertaions, other than I keep getting this request to delete hkey.

    It seems that there is some spyware that keeps re-infecting your system then. Try running Spybot and Adaware in safe mode (update definitions first) and also whatever antivirus program you use.
