    Want to know about employer privacy act Indiana?
    I was wanting to know the definition of the privacy act for Indiana.. Want to know what an employer can give out and what he cannot give out (that is of you personal info). Like address, phone number, employment records, etc...

    WHO gave out WHAT information, and WHY did they do it?

    If it was for a job reference, they're not limited by PRIVACY. They're limited by the TRUTH.

    If it was for something else, you're going to have to tell me what it was.

    I was wanting to not have my cell phone number emailed to everybody in the work place.. I was nice enough to give it to the people that needed it not for everybody to see it... does this fall under the privacy act... I thought it would... for I asked for a co-worker that used to work there and they said they have to get ahold of them to see if they were allowed to do so, I to the owner of the company I did not want my number to be published to everybody for not everybody needs it.. he told me tough and I have basically live with it.. I don't think he should have the right to publish information like that, unless I OK it.. well, I did not OK this..
