    New basement bar sink How to vent ?
    The new sink will be installed about 10 feet from a sump. Can this sink be inderectly vented into the sump pit?

    Will this sink drain terminate ia indirect waste in the sump? If so, a trap and vent won't be necessary since there will be no direct connection to the sewer. Or have I misunderstood the question? Let me know. Tom
