Leaving state on probation.yes or no?
I'm on probation for 3 years for arson and I had a probation officer in California but I got it transferred to West Virginia where I currently live and all the state of West Virginia is waiting for is the papers from the accepted papers from California but I haven't talked to and P O officers of no one here and I want to leave and go to California for 2 weeks but I don't want to mention it to anyone that has to do with my probation because I don't want them to say that I can't go... what should I do should I go or not?? I just don't want them coming to my house and I'm not here

    Hello striker:

A travel permit is EASY to get. I don't know why you wouldn't want to get one. Going without one is real dangerousl

If you are flying, the odds would be 99/100 for getting caught. If you are driving, the odds can be a little better in your favor, but not by much.

    Hello again, s:

If you have a good reason, he won't turn you down. If he does, then take your chances. They're not going to be any worse if he DOES turn you down. I mean, they're not going to be looking for you at the airports, or anything like that.

Twinkie?? Well, she's the motherly type. She just doesn't want to see you violate.

Not looking for him at airports? Excon, I'm rolling on the floor on that remark! Got to cut that out. I can't get back up off the floor as quickly any more due to getting old and decrepit.

And as far as me being the motherly type *blush* how nice of you to say so. And here I thought I was just being honest. Yes, I know, got to cut that out. Or the Nice Police will be knocking on my door any minute.
