    Infected Belly Button Piercing?
I've had my belly button pierced for a month already and its still red around the top, and it oozes out a white creamy substance.

Is it infected? If so what do I do?

I'd recommend cleaning the red area thoroughly with an antiseptic. Hydrogen Peroxide will do. Use antibiotic cream in the hole, and remove the piercing, clean it, and re-insert it with the antibiotic cream as a lubricant. Continue doing that for a week. If it does not improve, either remove it (it will heal up,) or go see a doctor. If it gets worse, then remove it and definitely go see a doctor!

I've had mine done for just over a week now and mine is red and when I lift the bar up at the top I can see oozy cream stuff, its OK its meant to weep it means its healing my mates was like yours and hers fine, but if it gives you any pain I would go to the place you got it pierced. Just keep it clean with hydrogen peroxide and you've only had it a month don't take it out. It will heal up in 3 minutes. Hope this helps :) I'm 14 by the way x :D x
