    What can we do
    What can my husband do to get legal custody or adopt our grankids { } we've had our oldest grandson on and off since he was . Born he is 8yrs now we have had them now for two years there mother hasn't been by or called us to see how they are.my step son we call him and he is always busy or just won't answer.at one time he said he would sign them of to us . I been researching and everything say we have to get a lawyer.we have no money for a lawyer.is there anything we could do that won't cost us too much

    That is basically it, you will need an attorney and the mom and dad of the child need to sign over their rights to allow you to adopt.

    If they don't agree it will be a much more longer and costly court fight,

    But anyway you do it, you need an attorney
