    Shoplift in canada,alberta
I'm a foreign worker here in Canada,Alberta. My W-1 visa already expire last Aug 2008 but my working permit still valid until May 2010.I was caught of shoplifting last Mar 1,2008 first offence.I was brought to the police station and release without doing finger printing nor picture taking. The police asked me to submit an apology letter & pay the damage to the victim.Everything was done 2 days after. When I took my police clearance after a week it show offence theft under, sec 334(B) CC & pending alternative measures approval.Im going on holiday this coming April 31. Question: am I going to have a problem to re-new my W-1 visa from my point of origin? Am'I alrealdy convicted? Please advice me Im so worried. Thanks

Yes, they probably won't let you back in

Sorry for your luck, but you should have thought about getting caught before you shoplifted. It isn't worth the trouble to shoplift!
I hope you never do it again.
