    Bathroom Tank Replacement
I am trying to replace a complete Flush Valve in my toilet tank, and I have a silly question - how the heck do I get the OLD FLUSH VALVE (with flapper) unscrewed from the tank? It is much larger than any wrench/plier that I have, and my hand strength is not enough to do it either. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! Jeff:confused:

Not to be condescending but how about a bigger wrench or strap wrench.

I'm assuming you are talking about the through the tank fitting that the flapper sits on.

Do you have the tank off the bowl?

    Hi jeffk1968
It would be advisable to buy a wrench that fits.
U will need it to put unit back together.

    Good luck
