Will I lose my Disability pay in my upcoming Divorice
I am 66 years ole and have been married for 21 years and have decided to get a divorce. I have S/S disability pay as well as Disability pay from prudential insurance paid for by my employer. I did contribute $4.00 per month.

Will I have to give my ex to be half of this prudential pay. I live in Castle Rock, Co.

    Thanks,

It sounds like an insurance policy to me from the way your describing it. If that's the case and it's a long term pay out then I don't believe the courts would take that away. It would however be considered as a source of income and calculated as part of any settlement or spousal support.
