    Leaving lovebird during vacation
This coming summer I will be going to China for about one month. I've had my lovebird for about two years and I'm very close with him. He bites everyone else though. I take him out for about eight hours everyday. I was wondering, will he be okay while I'm gone? I will be leaving him at my uncle's house. Will he still remember me when I come back? Thanks for any answers!

He will likely remember you but to be honest if he is left in cage for the full month you will likely have to work on his training and bond with you all over again when you get home.
Lovebirds can tend to get a bit Territorial and it gets worse when they are cage bound for a long period. A month in a cage is honestly going to be a bit rough on him and so you may not have the little guy you had when you left when you get home
However it should be OK and training should work out.
I would really try and find someone who can bird sit that really Knows and is responsible that can care for him Someone who will handle him and keep his schedule as close to what you had it. If you do make sure to sign a contract and make sure to trim your birds wings so no lost birds while gone Make sure no cats or dogs.
I do long term foster care and I always have the owner fill out a 4 page sheet of questions so I can try and keep their schedule as close to possible.
I have never had a bird yet not be thrilled to See their mom and they will go back and forth between us.
I usually take them for a over night and visit a couple times if I can before they come to stay to help them know me. Most the people I help have health issues and so sometimes the birds already have stayed with me before so take it in stride but as I said I try to keep the schedule as close to their normal one.
    Good luck
