My toy poodle is only six months. But he doesn't eat. We have bought him the most expenise food for him, and still doesn't eat it.we buy him treats, soft and hard foods. At first when we started noticing we started feeding human food like chicken. Now he doesn't want to eat anything. We 're thinking of taking him to the vet but want your answer first.

I'd take him to the Vet first to see if he's healthy. I have one dog who would eat the wallpaper if she could. She savors every bite of everything. My second dog is picky, picky, picky. They don't eat off each other's plates but the Vet told me to stop begging the second dog to eat and stop preparing special meals for her. She's healthy and eventually she will eat when the only other option is starvation.

Mine have been on the same food since they were babies so that's not the problem - the second dog just thinks that eventually something better will come along - and it doesn't any longer.
