Hi, I have a painting entitled "The end of Summer" in an old wooden frame. The painting is of a scarecrow and is signed by the artist at the lower left. At the back is a handwriting of the title of the painting (the end of summer), artist's name (Paul Blaine Henrie) and the year 1976 with " all rights reserved". The painting is on canvass, the medium I think is oil or palette knife.
    Any info regarding this?

Take this to an art appraiser and have it evaluated. If it is a legitimate Paul Blaine Henriee, it is worth thousands of dollars, however there are reproductions of his work and are worth very little. Your local art museum may check it for you and give you their opinion. I hope it is the real deal for you. Good luck, Rick
