    Air conditioning and gas heating
    Is it true air conditioning and gas heating are no good for asthmatics or people suffering from respritory problems

    If its filtered properly and serviced properly it could be better ,now with the latest humidification units and the new uv light , bacteria killing process it is better.Mikie D

My furnace and a/c both turn on but there is no display on the thermostat. I have no meter to check that there is 24 volts. What is causing this? I read it may be a safety thing and that there could be a dirty filter or something. Can I fix this myself?

I have a Goodman furnace. The thermostat is telling the furnace to come on, but it does not. This happens at least twice a day. I have to turn it on by turning the furnace on and off. There is a blinking red light that flashes five times, which I do not know what that means. Please Help
