Thin Hair
I've noticed over the last 5 years that my hair is a lot thinner!! I'm only 25 and I'm freaking out a little bit... I flat iron my hair and I wonder if that is causing it? Or is it genetic? Or am I imagining it?
Is there anything I can do? I read that it could be diet and if I'm not eating enough that it can effect my hair but I don't feel that's the case...

Ironing your hair CANNOT help it. That must damage it, and yes, probably thins it also. Your diet can certainly affect your hair also. Your hairbrush can also be a factor. Gentle and easy when brushing is best. Quit ironing your hair, use products for "thin" hair, there are great shampoos and conditioners for this... they help. And try to stop worrying about it, stress can cause hair loss.

Stress, poor diet, genetics, etc, etc. At age 25 go to a dermatologist that specializes in hair. Good luck. I'm 62 and after years of beautiful thick hair, mine is thin on top and looks miserable, but mine is due to age.

Hair and skin is very dependent on Omega 3 oils. They are the good oils, but unless you eat a bunch of salmon, you may be getting hardly any! You can buy Omega 3 capsules at the grocery store.
Also green vegetables are very good for hair and skin. Eat lots of them every day.
Doctors are now saying that what we eat really affects our bodies. It makes sense. I'd try these tips, but give them time to work. Keep it up every day. And be really gentle on your hair, also. Try not to wash it every day unless absolutely necessary. :-)

I subscribe to 2 links, Chris Litmon and David O'Brocki. When you get on their web page you can leave your email address and they will send you infos on what to do for thin hair. Chris will want you to buy his ebook, I think I paid $17.00 for 2. After you purchase them you can email him and he will answer your questions. I have learned A LOT from these two people and they will send you info everyday for awhile and then it drops down to once or twice a week. Give them a try, I really look forward to getting their emails. I use ASK JEEVES to find these people.
