    Meant to say "single wide manufactured house" as oppose to just a trailer
    My parents live within the state of Oregon and they used own a single-wide manufactured house. They sold the Single wide manufactured house about 15 years ago and they were doing some research on another subject pertaining to their property. They found out that the person that bought the single wide manufactured house never transferred the deed- title. Now my parents were told by the assessor they owe taxes on it since 2004. They know where the single wide is located and communicated by phone with the current individual who has care, custody and control of the trailer. They were told, the people who had the single wide manufactured house left it or were kicked off the other individual's property and left the trailer behind. What can they do to get this matter rectified if individual who has the trailer won't pay the taxes on it? Can they claim back the Single wide in place of them paying the taxes on it, if it comes to that? They don't owe anything themselves but since it is still in their names...
