Electrical on hot days 1circuit stops working
Sister has called and I am assuming by her ?that these lights are on same circuit.House is patio home & living room is vaulted ceiling. She tells me that on hot or very hot days the ceiling fan and laundry room light won`t work. Do you think wires (romex)would be melting.my plan is to go check allconnetion are tight . She says breaker is not tripping makes me think there is something not tight. Thanks what this am I not suppose to use any capital letters I am not use to using computor much every time I try to send this it is rejected now is saying don't use I have retyped this I gues it is`nt going to get out there last try.

It could be something is not tight and the expansion of home materials on hot days is just enough to move the wires. This will be fun, I am sure.

Your message got through so I'm not sure what you were seeing at your end. I don't think we have any melting insolation but there could be slight movement as the roof heats up. I would start at the panel and make sure both the black/hot wire and the neutral/white wire are both tightly secured in the panel.
