    Meaning of "personal representative" under SC inheritance law
    Hi,

    Under inheritance law of the State of South Carolina, the term "personal representative"
    Means "heir" ?

    "Personal reprsentative" means the person whom the deceased has named in his will to take care of managing and ultimately distributing the assets of the estate. The term is equivalent to "executor."
