Wooden apartments?
I currently live on a first floor apartment out of three floors I am fixing to move because I have had mold issues, I was looking at these apartments, I like them but they are wooden, do these produce mold as well? Or bring a lot of bugs? Ive never stayed in a wooden apartment. Anyone know about them. Thanks.

What approx location are you that wooden apts are not common?/
That could help here as far as bugs etc. Most all construction in the U.S. are wooden with block foundations.
I partly live outside the states and there 99% of all structures are block and concrete.
Get back and maybe I can help

Ask what there bug/cockroach maintenance is if they have any. That's usually the biggest pest. The palmetto bug which looks like a big cock roach is noted in Florida. The black Roch is from moisture related situations. The brown one gets in food. Mice and rats would be another possibility. Mold is the worry of all. Look in tub areas and under cabinets. It will look black or brownish of white and powder in certain forms.
Roaches and rodents can be controlled. Look at lease for anything pertaining to that, Termites that eat wood is a pain. Ask the rental office. In general living in a all wood structure is completely fine except for hurricanes and tornado's.
They look well maintained from the pics
The mosquito may be a question with the water.

I don't know where now is. Rodents can get anywhere unchecked. Garbage cans/dumpsters are a magnet for rodents. Cock roaches can get to any floor also. Its all about habits in the home/yard and adjoining apts/houses that counts here.
If you go to look at the unit look to see if any droppings/mouse/rat poop under sinks/ corners storage areas etc.
Ask them if you see any rodents in or around the house what's the policy on dealing with that is any. As to inside also. Who deals with/ pays for what.

Sorry I wasn't specific I live in apartment complex now but I live on the first floor but the maintenance guy gave me some advice that if I moved to the third floor or moved to an apartment with more sunlight (because mine doesn't get sunlight) that I won't have the mold issue because there will be more heat, yeah I am going to have to speak to her about that tomorrow, I know she told me she lives there also.

I don't know what I would do if I had a problem with mice or roaches I can't stand them I would probably start yelling like someone is killing me lol. And I don't want nothing crawling on my son at night. I am very much of a clean person though

Apartments

My husband and I have been working on lowering our bills. Mine got paid off but he still has about 6,000 left. We absolutely HAVE to get an apartment in June and we are afraid we could only get 2,000 or 3,000 paid off by then. Our credit scores are in the low 600's.
