    80,s movie cant remember the name?
    I watched this movie in the mid 80,s it was about this astronaut that returned to earth after it was somehow destroyed. He landed and the earth was all desert, he found some train tracks and used parts from his ship to make a solar powered platform that would drive on the train tracks. It just looked like a flatbed train car with his solar stuff piled on it. He followed the tracks for days or even weeks then crashed into something destroying his homemade solar car. I don't remember how but he ends up in a underground town of some kind ruled by a villain that looks like the actor Richard Moll, but I did a search and I guess its not Richard Moll but I always assumed it was.

    This was not a TV movie I remember renting it from the rental place uptown.

    Anyone remember the name of this movie?

    Wow thanks! That was driving me nuts. Its weird that they don't list that movie in any of Richard Moll's biographies as one of the movies he played in.
