I am totally new to this forum and to a lot of computer stuff.
I have (through some miracle) created a folder I call "My pictures" - into which I have filed ALL the pictures I've taken with my camera. Now I realize that it would have been a good idea to create folders (such as "Family" - "Christmas" - "Bicycle Trip", "Mexico" - etc. So now I am trying to make up some folders and drag the correct pictures to their respective folder.
Problem: Don't know how to make more folders. I did make the "My pictures" folder, and cannot remember how I did. (Too many senior moments.)
Any help will be appreciated.

Try

File menu --> New Folder

Then it will allow you to type in a name for the folder.

Hi,
When you open My Documents and/or then My Pictures;
Look at the top of the screen, and left click on File.
Then left click on New, then Folder.
It will create a new folder.
Now, left click on the new folder, and Right click on it. Then, left click on Rename. You can then type in whatever you want to call it.
Post back if you need help with dragging files to your new folders.
