I cheated. Horribly. And I have one chance.
I have been dating this girl for seven months and I was starting to think that it could go further into marriage possibly in the future. One night I stupidly went out for a night of bowling with another female co-worker. It was just the two of us and sure enough things got way out of control and I ended up doing the worst thing possible. Then she told the girl that I was with about it. Now everything is in ruins. I am a mess. She is worse. She is thinking that she might give me another chance.. But she is so hurt and scared that she is going to make mistake by doing that. How do I let her know I am truly sorry and that I never want to hurt her again? I love her... I can't let her slip away because of my stupid mistake...

Just be there when she needs you.
Don't be in her face, but have her back.
Let her know that you're not going anywhere AND DON'T!
And, the hardest one of all... be patient.

Edited for text/chat speak!!!
Mate, first off I must say I know how what you're going through. I once was in the same situation due to alcohol. The way I got around this was to ask her to sit down with you and talk seriously about how you both feel. Perhaps take her out for a meal, or simply sit at home. Explain how upset you are and how much she truly means to you. Prove to her that she means everything and that you love her and no one else. She obviously loves you in the 1st place or a second chance would not have been offered. Take the chance and explain how you feel
I hope this helps.. its how I got around it and it seemed to work.. I stayed with her for a further 2 years

Let me see you were so in love with your girlfriend, that you went out on a date with another girl and then you fooled around with her also.
Sorry does not sound like you loved the first girl that much to me either.
And it will take years if she ever really gets over it, and learns to trust you again.
I really doubt you have much of a chance.

Don't expect she get over this fast, even if she says she forgives you, which she may never do. You have a very long road of rebuilding trust that you destroyed.
Just curious as to why the female you cheated with ratted you out. Did you lie to get in her pants or what?

We went out as friends and then had some drinks while we were there. And the reason she told the other girl was that she "needed to make things right and i felt so guilty about what happened. I can't just let it go. I'm sorry."
