    buying stocks
    wamu's stock is at $0.16, chase's stock is at $15.00. If I were to buy $2000.00 worth of wamu's stock at $0.16 now would it be valued at the $15.00 per shares chase's stock is at when the buyout is complete?

    my guess is no, you would probably be offered $2000 of chase stock in exchange at the value of chase stock at the time of sale
