    Gas fireplace shuts off
I moved into my new (older home two years ago. It has a gas fireplace system already installed. It worked fine the first year or so but recently starting shutting off all by itself. It will burn for aobut 15 minutes then shut off. I cannot light the pilot for about 10 minutes, then the process startrs again. I cannot find a manufacturer name on the burner or fake logs. Here is no external thermostat. Any ideas?

Look for a thermocouple by the pilot light, replacement is cheap and usually fixes this issue.

Thanks for the response. I vacumed and cleaned the unit and removed a dust ball from the little hole in the thermocoupler (I think) and that seemed to fix the problem.
