There's a red bump on my belly piercing, is it infected?
I got my belly pierced a week ago. Ever since 2 days ago I have noticed that around the top hole a kind of "bubble" or bump has formed, it's red and some clear discharges have been coming out, rarely though. I don't know if its an infection, rejection or irritation. There is no pain and there's no color discharges coming out of it. I also notice that the ring may be too tight and that I should get one with a thinner gauge, but I'm not sure that is safe enough to change the jewelry. Please let me know if its better and okay for me to change the ring. I'm really freaking out! Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

The ring may look too small now but it could just be the swelling from having the piercing done. Don't over clean it or fiddle with it too much just wash the piercing in a sea salt and warm water solution several times a day and it should feel better. If you are too worried about it just go back to your piercer and they will change to ring for you.
