Help! I never done my taxes! At the age of 18 I went to prison for 8 and a half years. I got out late 2007 and worked all of 2008. I am a full-time college student now and almost a free man. I need help. I've never done this before. I created an account with H&R Block to do my taxes on line for free but they ask questions about my previous tax returns - I don't have any! I worked little jobs here and there before I got locked-up but I never filed for those taxes. Also, I have a little girl who I owe child support for those eight years and some - a back pay of about $23,000 dollars. I do know that the great state of Texas will take my return but that's OK I need to do my taxes. How and where do I start? Thanks for your help. God bless you.:)

You file tax return only if your income is more than the filing requirements. So may be even for 2007, you are not required to file.
Start by filing 2008 tax return.

Hey Momeo, you did your time, that's it; you are redeemed.
Take a look at the 1040 EZ tax return: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040ez.pdf. If your going to college you can cetainly do that. Tax preparation is not rocket science, just arithmetic.
Send as much as you can to your little girl every month and remember her birthday. Don't be afraid to try and reconnect with her; everybody makes mistakes.
Texas has no income tax, it's only the IRS you need to satisfy.
