    Kenmore calypso elite washer
    I have this washer and it is flashing FL. I no longer have the appliance book. What does this mean.

    From the technical page

    OVERFILL CONDITION

    FL - This message occurs only if the machine control board sees an open circuit at P17. If this is the case:

    * Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display
    * With the power dosconnected, check the upper harness connection to P17 on the machine control. Look for any contaminants on the contacts. There should be a cclosed circuit in there harness between P17 contacts 1 and 3
    * Replace the upper harness or machine control as necessary

    There is a technical booklet inside your front panel on the washer.
