I know the plant but can't think of the proper name for it. It does look like it needs watered as the soil looks too dry for this plant.

I used to have this growing in my garden in South Florida. It is very hardy but needs regular sunlight and water. When the leaves get yellowed, you need to take a pair of scissors and cut the stem and leaf off as close as you can to the main stalk. It will grow more leaves that way also. Just prune back the yellowed leaves.

Also, the older the plant gets the bigger the leaves will grow. Right now your plant looks like it's a baby one sprouted from a main one. If you wanted more plants like this just carefully cut off one of the sprouts near the dirt and plant that and it will happily grow. This is how this plant multiplies itself. It's in the lily family that's all I can remember.

You are most welcome. Just be sure it's in a sunny location and given water on a regular basis. It can get to be big, but that's going to take a few years to accomplish! No special plant fertilizer is needed either. Just once in a great while give it a shot of Miracle Grow but a very very weak solution or you can burn the plant with fertilizer.
