    theft from employer
    hello to everyone, and thank you to everyone who replies, I have recently been arrested for theft from employer the value of goods is about 7,000, what is the worse thing that can happen to me? The police have told my that its unlikely I will get away with a caution because of the value of goods, they said it would be unlikely I go the prison, but am really threating about what the worse could be??

    This depends on where you live and how aggressively your employer wants to pursue it. Jail time is not out of the question.

    I live in the uk and the company I stole from was closing down when it happened, do you know any more?

    Did they promise you that you would not go to prison to get you to give a confession.

    So you need to talk to your solicitor before you say or do anything else
